SEA POINT METHODIST IS A SMALL CHURCH WITH A BIG HEART!

If there’s a way to be diverse, we pretty much do it! The people who worship and serve as part of Sea Point Methodist Church come from all sorts of different backgrounds. We are wealthy and poor and everything in between. We are black and white and everything in between. We are male and female and everything in between. We are young and old and everything in between. We are domestic workers and entrepreneurs, labourers, blue and white collar workers, home makers and artists, scholars and teachers, doctors and nurses, lawyers and business people. But what unites us all is that we love Jesus and believe in trying to live the values and priorities of God’s Reign that Jesus proclaimed and died for.

We are situated in a cosmopolitan urban setting in one of the greatest tourist destinations of the world! Some of “our people” have been with us for decades, others visit for three to six months as they attend one of the area’s famous Language Schools, and yet others visit for just a Sunday or two while they tour our beautiful land.
